Beans Scarlet Runner

Also known as 7 year bean. A perennial that will die in winter and grow back in spring. A prolific producer of long green flat beans.

• Sow seeds in moist soil that's at least 20°C
• Sow seeds 2–3 cm deep, 12–15 cm apart, and in rows that are a meter apart

70 to 90 days to harvest. Store in a cool dry place. Prefers rich well-drained soil.

Direct sow 2-35m deep, Space 10-20cm apart. Provide a support system for these vigorous climbers.
