Grown for the seed, the oval shaped pumpkin has yellow to green stripes and while the flesh is insipid, the naked seeds are pepitas, a good source of copper, iron, manganese, magnesium, phosphorus, protein, tryptophan, and zinc.

Leave them on the vine till it dies back and harvest.
