A culinary herb used for its lemony frangrance & flavour. Also used as a medicinal herb in teas to aid digestion & sleep. Has white flowers & attractive to bees.

60 days to flowering. Will tolerate most soils.

Best planted in September, October, November, & December.

Best transplanted in Spring. Grow by sprinkling the tiny seed onto seed raising mix & gently tamping down to make good soil & seed contact. Keep moist until they germinate in 8-16 days time. Transplant 30cm apart. Prefers partial sun/shade. Can be dead-headed in spring early summer to encourage growth & flowers.

Sow when is based on cooler climates. If you are growing in a warm climate you may need to check your local sow when guides.

All seed packets sold are in date. The use by date on the packet image does not reflect the date of the seed for sale, we don’t update the image to reflect the latest batch.

If the word HUON is in bold on the packet it means it’s been grown and saved in the Huon Valley.

All those grown in the Huon Valley are grown organically.

Sorry, no sales to overseas due to quarantine Restrictions.

We hope you enjoy growing these heirloom and often rare varieties. While we grow seed commercially it’s home gardeners who are keeping them alive!
