Native to South America, this is an INCREDIBLY versatile and easy to grow addition to your garden. Every part of this annual climber is edible, from the stems to the leaves to the bright flowers. This plant packs a peppery punch; add the flowers to a salad to elevate it as a feast for the eyes and the tastebuds! It is also a plant which THRIVES in very poor soils and can repel some insects. An excellent companion plant for tomatoes!
