Grows up to 1.8-2m high.
A bizarre tomato!
It’s a bunch of tomato ‘bubbles’ that can be torn off & eaten without exposing the rest of the tomato.
Hence, it’s a good tomato for snacking on while travelling.
Tangy flavour.
WHEN TO PLANT
Temperate: SEP-DEC Transplant or direct sow outside only when soil temperatures reach 16ºC+.
SOIL PREFERENCES
PH 5.8-7
Well-drained rich soil.
GROWING TIPS
Raise in seedling tray, sow 6mm deep and keep moist.
Remove bottom leaves when planting and plant deeply to promote strong growth.
Plant 45cm apart.
Pinch out laterals leaving 1-2 leaders.
Grow on a support.
