These multiple headed beauties grow with bronze, rust, orange, yellow, maroon, & burgundy heads. Many of them are multicoloured. They bloom over a long period. Allow the heads to dry completely before saving seed.
80 days to harvest. Prefers rich well-drained soil.
Best planted in Spring after frost.
Sow seeds in group of 2 direct into ground & 30cm apart. The seeds will sprout in 10-14 days. Wait a week and snip off the weakest seedling & allow the other to grow. Water & feed well, leave the flower till the back is yellow/brown before removing. Allow to completely dry if you wish to keep seeds for resowing. You may need to protect from birds.
Sow when is based on cooler climates. If you are growing in a warm climate you may need to check your local sow when guides.
